  Jeremy Graves
Photographer

Jeremy joined Damianos Photography in May of 2006 as a photography assistant and digital retoucher. He adds his expertise gained by assisting many types of photographers on location and in the studio. Now as a full-time photographer, he is involved with all aspects of photography projects from concept to completion, including estimating, production and retouching.

His fine art photography explores site-specific sculptures built on location from natural and man made materials. He chooses very distinct spaces in which to display his work, from deep in the woods to wide open fields, to show how art and environment are integrally linked. Jeremy begins by sketching ideas, scouting the location and then building each sculpture as a site-specific installation. Once the assembly is complete, photography begins as documentation of the act of creation. All sculptures are dismantled upon completion of photography to leave the land as it was. Select images are available as limited edition C-Prints.

Jeremy is a faculty member of the Danforth Museum,  Worcester Art Museum and Joseph P. Keefe Technical School in Framingham. He aspires to find a graduate program to further develop his photographic vision. Jeremy enjoys digging into his library and reading anything he can get his hands on. He has also been known to write a little poetry in his day, attending the New England Young Writer’s Conference in high school. Jeremy has been a pool player for several years, he loves the game for its precision, beauty and attention to detail; many of the same aspects Jeremy loves about photography.

  Tracey Young
Associate

A recent graduate from the full-time Photography Certificate Program at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University, Tracey has joined us as an associate, bringing skills in the most current digital imaging technology as well as a new level of passion for her lifelong love of photography.

A graduate of Simmons College with a BA in Communications, Tracey was a freelance graphic designer in Boston for several years before moving to New York City where she worked as a layout designer at Victoria Magazine for four years. Her career was put on hold to be at home with her son, Robert, who has since been among the primary subjects of her photographs for the past 14 years. In her photography, Tracey is drawn to detailed textures and distinct patterns formed both by nature and by design in architecture. She also enjoys photographing animals, including her two cats, Eenie and Mo. She volunteers at the Animal Rescue League as well, taking pictures of the animals for their pet adoption website. Tracey is thrilled to be working with everyone at Damianos Photography, and is looking forward to continued growth as a photographer.

  Kathy Skarvan
Mobile Framing Specialist

Damianos Photography continues to go beyond the ordinary to put your best image forward!

We’ve partnered with Kathy Skarvan to provide unique professional custom framing services. Kathy will meet you at your convenience in your office, home or studio for on-site design, pick up and delivery of framed images.

As an artist, Kathy is driven by eye appeal and attention to detail. She has a passion for people, gains energy from her environment and is inspired by the emotional reward she receives when others appreciate her work. She realizes that although some people are most interested in the image itself and the techniques used to capture it, the finished product as a unique piece of framed art intrigues many others.

She recognizes that there is a market for unique frame designs. As a former manager of a retail custom frame shop, she discovered other needs that are not addressed by conventional frame stores. Kathy combined her passion for photography with her expertise in framing to create a custom framing business for photographers to provide a full-service offering to their clients.

She will save you time while capturing your preferred style and maintaining the integrity of the image within its intended environment.

Give us a call or email to schedule a visit with Kathy and her frame mobile.

  Heather Tomkinson
Bookkeeper

Heather Tomkinson has been the bookkeeper of the Damianos Photography team since July of 2002. Her background is in Communications and Photography, and she previously worked in Boston for six years as a studio manager.

Heather is a big fan of the fine art photography of Duane Michals and was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago.

Recently, Heather graduated from the massage and bodywork program at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, but she continues on as the keeper of the books because that is the dharma of her left brain.

When not doing bookkeeping, massage, volunteer work for the Worcester Art Museum, or The Body Shop at Home parties, Heather enjoys cooking, traveling, and rearranging the furniture in her tiny little home.
